Meet Coach Jake

Jake is a world ranked Muay Thai fighter and passionate coach with deep roots in the sport. Starting his Muay Thai journey at just 14 years old, Jake had his first fight at 15 and quickly rose through the ranks fighting across New Zealand. Driven by a relentless passion for Muay Thai, he eventually moved to Thailand, where he has spent the last four years living and training in the heart of Isaan, Ubon Ratchathani.

Training under the legendary Nung Ubon Sitlerchai, Jake earned the ring name Jake New LookNungUbon and has built an impressive record of 30 professional fights, with 19 wins and 15 knockouts. Currently ranked #19 in the world by the WBC Muay Thai, Jake brings elite level experience, traditional Thai training, and a fighter’s mindset to every session.

Splitting his time between Thailand and Adelaide, Jake will be in and out of our gym. More than just a fighter, Jake is a passionate coach and pad holder who thrives on passing down his knowledge, helping students sharpen their technique, mindset, and love for the art of Muay Thai.
